After I saw Wanderlei Silva knocked out Quinton Jackson in the second round with knees, I was so excited about the fighting that I couldn't focus on my homework. In my high school, all the students, who watched the game, were talking about how Silva won right after being knocked down himself near the end of the first round.
During lunch break in high school, the boys started playing, called UFC tournament in gymnasium. The rule was simple: two participants fought each other until either one got knocked out or abandoned the game. In the first fight, a student with Judo the second degree black belt and over 300 pounds threw the other student, who only weighed around 150 ponds to the floor. The other boy, who was thrown, lost his consciousness, and was sent to hospital. The boy injured his right arm, but he was in no danger of losing his life. The student, who threw the other student, was taken his black belt away and suspended from school for a week.
I was also the second degree black belt in Judo, and the guy, who was suspended, was my team mate. I was disappointed how he disobeyed the rule not to use Judo techniques outside the Dojo. At the same time, I understood how he was excited to fight after seeing the amazing fight between Silva and Jackson.
UFC stimulates the fighting spirits of many young people. I think high school students may not be strong enough to suppress their emotions.

Why supplements but not real foods?
An advertisement would say, "You don't have to go to grocery shopping and cook meals, but the supplements provide you all the nutrients you need to have everyday." I always come up with questions: Are supplements completely safe to a human body? How about the coating on the tablets? Is it some kind of chemicals? Can these artificial products give humans as much nutrition as real vegetables?
Maybe, if supplements are expensive, these supplements may contain decent amount of minerals and vitamins. But if a bottle, which contain hundred supplements, costs only $10 in Wal-Mart, you have to carefully look at the label of the bottle and see its health effect and how much nutrition contain in a tablet.
I have a friend, who eats only supplements, which she purchases online every month, for dinner. She said, "I love supplements because they include all the minerals and vitamins I need to take." She also said that she could gain all the nutrients just by eating these tablets instead of taking an hour to cook and eat meals.
For me, eating is the happiest time a day; therefore, eating or swallowing some tablets, which do not taste anything, is boring.

finding a weird sign board on the way to school.
When I was driving on the 35 East on the Wednesday morning, I saw the sign board, saying "Christ never hated a gay man." At first, I thought the comment implies that Jesus loved everyone like his children. Yes, Jesus never distinguished people from their social status, ethnicity, or religious back ground.
I, however, thought that whoever wrote the comment was so selfish like a five-year-old kid. The small kids always expect love from their parents without thinking of how the parents are feeling, but gay people are not children; therefore, they have to think how painful Jesus, as a parent, may feel through seeing his beloved children turning to gays.
I would put the sign, saying "Does a gay man make Jesus happy or sad?"

How's in Diet Coke?
In the movie we watched in the last Tuesday class, people were talking about how they were controlled by advertisements and other man maid products. If I see the Diet Coke package, the first impression of the product without actually looking at the ingredients will be good for my body. In fact, I had never looked at the ingredients of the can because I relied only on what they say on the ad or in the commercial. I, however, recently, found out that Diet Coke included aspartame, which made the taste sweet and was labeled as a toxic substance in the sensational media coverage. I know Hamburgers are tasty, but the company also should warn the possible health effect on people if they eat the Hamburgers. I, therefore, support their ideas of telling the truth to people as an advice. I, however, disagree with their actions of labeling other stuff on the advertisements or preaching about not to buy Disney stuff in the Disney store because they were illegally bothering the businesses, which are legally allowed to run the businesses. The people working there are also working for living. Maybe, they can work on being qualified to legally do so, so that more people will also respect and appreciate what they are doing.
